Sanya Richards-Ross & Aaron Ross
She is a four-time Olympic Gold Medalist. He is a two-time Super Bowl Champion. Together, they share the road as athletes living in the spotlight.
Sanya Richards-Ross and Aaron Ross met while they both attended the University of Texas. Sanya became a household name early in her athletic career based the exposure she gained from dominating the NCAAs as a freshman and earning a ticket to the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens while still a sophomore in college (she turned pro following that excellent freshman year). While Sanya dominated on the track, Aaron was making a name for himself on the football field, building his resume with each each year of play, and earning multiple Big XII honors, a seat as a first-team All-American, and the 2006 Jim Thorpe Award, as the nation's top defensive back.
After their time at UT, both have gone on to enjoy professional careers. Sanya has been a mainstay atop the podium as both an individual, and as part of the relays. Sanya's biggest moment came during the 2012 Olympic Games in London, where she finally attained the ultimate prize: a 400m Gold Medal. Aaron was a first-round draft pick by the NY Giants in 2007. While with the Giants from '07 - '11, he helped the team to two Super Bowl rings (XLII & XLVI) as their starting cornerback. Aaron is now on the roster of the Baltimore Ravens.
