Hailing from Chaseburg, WI, Samantha attended Pardeeville HS prior to crossing state lines and joining the Cyclones of Iowa State University, where she earned a degree in Dietetics. Samantha started running because her father was in the military and when he would train for his PT tests, she would run 2-3 miles with him around the trail in their town. From these beginnings, Samantha went on to become team captain of the Cyclones in her senior season and take multiple Big XII honors, including a conference…
