From the New York City Metro area, Robert has been running since elementary school in CYO programs and the USATF Junior Olympics series. He attended Don Bosco Prep High School in Ramsey, NJ where led his team to two NTN/NXN appearances, running personal bests of 4:12 and 9:10 before competing at the collegiate level.   • Training group: Team USA Minnesota
  • Philanthropic involvement: Team for Kids
  • Training hurdles: I had two stress fractures back to back after never experiencing injury before in my career: a sacral stress fracture from March to June 2015, and a calcaneous (heel) stress fracture from July to October 2015.
  • Favorite foods: Ham, egg and cheese on an everything bagel from NJ/NYC (must have SPK: salt, pepper, ketchup)
  • Favorite TV show: Mad Men is my favorite show, but I am currently on a Dexter binge
