"I only had two post race interviews this track season and I feel like a really squandered both. During indoor I ran my first sub four-minute mile but was totally unprepared to talk on camera. I couldn't even watch the interview afterwards I was so mad at myself for not being more well-spoken. Again I dropped the ball after a mile race in Canada when I needed to mention one of my sponsor companies, PowerBar, to fulfill our agreement but forgot. In both instances I felt like I did a poor job of promoting and selling myself like I know I can. For this upcoming year I definitely want to improve my media presence and more effectively share who I am when given those rare opportunities."
