"As with most athletes I had a mix of ups and downs throughout my competitive season last year. Thankfully it ended pretty well. I had a little slump early in the outdoor season, partly due to a minor injury. If I could do one thing over, I would have gotten in touch with my physiotherapist earlier than I did. At the time he was a new therapist for me so I didn't know how wonderful he was going to turn out to be.
Once I started seeing him and his healing hands, training sessions became much more successful. The good news is I learned from this experience and I now see my amazing physiotherapist at least once per week and he keeps me feeling great. Staying on top of injuries and spending a lot of time on prehab has become a big piece of my overall training regime."
