Born American, but growing up in a Mexican culture, Mario’s passion is to be a bridge between the two cultures. Five time USA Trail National Champion and three times USA Trail Runner of the Year, Mario’s platform of influence is in Trail/Mountain/Ultrarunning racing. A runner, a pastor, a speaker, but most of all a husband, Mario loves to connect the lessons and stories from endurance racing in the mountains to the race that every person is running in life.
