Lashinda Demus

Born in Inglewood and currently training in Valencia, Lashinda is long-time California resident, attending Long Beach Wilson High. She took hiatus from the Golden State to attend University of South Carolina. While competing for the Gamecocks, Lashinda took the 2002 NCAA Outdoor Championship and 2003 Indoor Championship in the 400 meter hurdles. Since graduation, her many honors include two gold, two silver, and a bronze medal in World Championships, an Olympic silver medal in London, and four USA Outdoor Championships.…
