A native of West Texas, Kendra attended J.M. Hanks High School in El Paso before heading east to the University of Texas in Austin, where she earned a degree in Corporate Communications, minoring in Sports Advertising. While competing for the Longhorns, Kendra was a 12-time All American running the 400m, 4x4m really and the 800m and a 4-time Big XII Champion running the 600 yards and 4x400m relay.
