Erin Taylor-Talcott

Born and raised in the greater Portland area, Erin attended Clackamas High School in Milwaukie, Oregon before trading coasts and attending Rutgers University, where she earned a degree in Music Performance, and later a Masters in Music Performance from Stony Brook University. About Erin

  • Coach: Self
  • Special skills: Music performance.
  • Favorite foods: steak and a big salad with tons of yummy stuff in it! And maybe some ice cream ;)
  • Hobbies: Being outside, working on our farm, gardening, hiking and camping. And if the weather outside is gross then nothing beats curling up on the couch under a fuzzy blanket with a good book or a good movie. And maybe some popcorn.
  • Favorite TV show: Changes depending on the season, but I LOVE watching American Ninja Warrior. I wish I had grip strength, if I did I'd totally try out for the show.
  • Favorite movie: That's tough. I love Shawshank Redemption.
  • Dream vacation: A month long trip through Europe. (or longer!) Or Japan, I've always dreamed of going to Japan during the cherry blossom festival. Really I'd go just about anywhere (that's safe) in the world.
  • Favorite place to compete: Anywhere new and exciting with great competition.
  • Warm up song: I actually don't listen to music for my warm up, so I don't have one.
  • I most enjoy competing against: Great competition!
  • After competition indulgence: If my stomach can handle the gluten it'd be a Red Velvet Cupcake. Otherwise some yummy ice cream.
