David Kendziera

Born and raised northwest of Chicago, David was an all-state standout at Prospect High School in Mount Prospect, IL. During his senior year, David would earn state runner-up honors in the 110m hurdles and bring home the state championship in the 300m hurdles, in addition to being named the Daily Herald's Northwest Male Athlete of the Year. Multiple injuries during my 2016 season had a lot of toll on myself physically and mentally and i suffered through depression, however listening to podcasts about positive thinking and practicing self-discipline, I was able to turn things around and overcome the depression that I had.
