Coming out of high school as Louisiana's top prospect in the sprint hurdles, Cassandra Tate began her collegiate track and field career at LSU in 2009. Tate wasted no time showing she was a vital asset to the Lady Tigers as she showed great potential just as a freshman. In 2010, Tate burst on to the track scene claiming her first All-America honor and a silver and bronze medal in the 4x400m relay.
