On the comeback, slow but steady!

Dear Friends, Family & Fans,

It has been just over a year from my hip surgery and I am happy to announce I am finally back to running 6 days a week! Originally, I was hoping to return to every-day-running much sooner following my surgery, however, I discovered that my hip impingement was not actually the source of my pain. Thus, it’s been a long year of more MRI imaging ,multiple rounds of injections, seeking out new doctors and continuing physical therapy, massage, active release and chiropractic every week. It turns out, there is still more damage to my other muscles and tendons surrounding my hip that continue to need constant treatment. Although doing countless hours of PT visits and PT exercises is not always fun, I know it will be worth it in the end. After all, life is a journey, not a destination, and I’m always striving to enjoy the process.

I’m incredibly grateful for those who have supported me both financially, and through kind words and prayers. If you would like to help support me financially, Flip Give makes it easy. Instead of straight donations, simply shopping online can earn my fundraiser money.

Here’s how: Simply click on my fundraising page and then click SHOP. From there you will find hundreds of brands and stores you already enjoy. Next, click on the store/brand you wish to buy from, and provide your email address. Once the link takes you to that store, anything you purchase on that page will give back a percentage towards my fundraiser.

Your support helps my comeback to racing through extensive physical therapy & medical treatment following surgery. Thank you, and I look forward to more positive updates to come!!
