On the comeback, slow but steady!

Dear Friends, Family & Fans,

It has been just over a year from my hip surgery and I am happy to announce I am finally back to running 6 days a week! Originally, I was hoping to return to every-day-running much sooner following my surgery, however, I discovered that my hip impingement was not actually the source of my pain. Thus, it’s been a long year of more MRI imaging ,multiple rounds of injections, seeking out new doctors and continuing physical therapy, massage, active release and chiropractic every week. It turns out, there is still more damage to my other muscles and tendons surrounding my hip that continue to need constant treatment. Although doing countless hours of PT visits and PT exercises is not always fun, I know it will be worth it in the end. After all, life is a journey, not a destination, and I’m always striving to enjoy the process.
