Sandi Morris can vault high…and she proved it last night against the best the globe has to offer
Less than a week out from a gold medal performance at the USA Indoor Championships, where she vaulted a personal best of 4.95m (16′ 2.75″), Sandi took to the skies again on Thursday night at the World Indoor Championships in Portland. Clearing heights from 4.5m (14′ 9″) to 4.85m (15′ 11″) en route to a silver medal, she could only be bested by USA teammate Jenn Suhr, who would set a Championship Record.
