The End of an Era…and Dawn of a New One
Is it weird to have deep nostalgic feelings for a magazine? Probably yes. My Track & Field News memories start with my Mom being a Super-Mom. I recall breathlessly devouring stories about Pre, Frank Shorter, Steve Scott, Mary Decker, Michael Johnson, Joan Benoit, etc. The track stuff is awesome but I think T&FN’s reporting and photos of the cross country season has always been favorite. In recent years I’ve especially enjoying stories and stats about athletes we are working with on AthleteBiz and how cool was it when T&FN did a feature story on us?!? Digital or paper I happily plan on continuing my now 45 year subscription. Read Track & Field News’s announcement about their decision to go full-digital after 70 years of print
