Great to see  Gabe Grunewald in full stride again!

Back at it! And just in time to get in a few #birthdaymiles in beautiful Central Park with @justingrunewald1. He has #birthdaybeers on tap this evening, #birthdayrace upcoming this weekend at the North Face 50k, and even a #birthdayeurotrip (@iaaf) commencing next week! Good way to kick off 32. . On another note, we got some good news the other day! I often wonder how we’ll get through this and the answer I usually land on is: “a little good news at a time.” We had been in a ‘good news’ drought for a bit, and will always happily take as much (or as little) as we can get — this time it’s finding out that my radiologist at @mayoclinic evaluated my angiogram from Friday and thinks they can do one TheraSphere treatment for my liver instead of two! So that’s neat. . #happybirthdayjustin #birthdaymiles #nyc #centralparkrun #nycruns #bravelikegabe #cancersurvivor #rarecancer

My finishing time wasn’t great for me – 3:30 over my PR with a 1:17:16, but I’m proud of my ability to execute the plan according to my current fitness instead of holding myself to currently unattainable standards.” via @erbyatkins on Instagram
