Garrett Heath will run the 10K at Payton Jordon, his debut at the distance. Perhaps being on the home turf of his alma mater in Palo Alto will provide inspiration for his introduction to, “25 laps of what I expect to be anything thing but comfort.”
9 out of 10 Thursdays I’m comfortably laying in bed at 10:25pm. Tomorrow night, I’ll instead be fully caffeinated and toeing the start line for 25 laps of what I expect to be anything thing but comfort. Looking forward to another wild night in Palo Alto! #PaytonJordan #10kdebut #FearTheTree . Running down our #1224campaign goal well ahead of May 20th! Our total registration number is now at... 1,022! . THANK YOU ALL! We are well on our way toward fulfilling our goal of having one #BraveLikeGabe5k registrant running in support of each new ACC diagnosis this year — 1224 powerful people. And did you know that the timing of our race in support of rare cancer research couldn’t be more appropriate: the month of May is National Cancer Research Month! So thank you for celebrating with us and bravely running alongside us as we support much-needed advances in rare cancer research. . Due to to the somewhat unexpected demand, we want you to know that our supply of virtual registrations available is quite LOW! We will be closing registration for the virtual race when we fill the 100 remaining virtual spots or on Monday — whichever comes first. So if you’ve been putting off registering and want to be a part of our team, please sign up soon! (St. Paul runners have a little more time but we’d still appreciate the advance registration.) . Hope to see some of our #BraveSquad #BraveLikeGabe crew in Waco this weekend for the #SiloDistrictMarathon events! We’ll be running for research and cheering for all our friends — especially the king of Waco himself and soon-to-be marathoner , @chipgaines! . #bravelikegabe #1224campaign #silodistrictmarathon #rarecancerresearch #cancerresearchmonth #bravelikegabe5k2018 #signup #runningonhope #runningforresearch
