Currently training in Jonesboro, AR, Becky spent much of her formative years on the west coast, being born in Sacramento, CA, high school in Sparks, NV (Reed H.S.), and college in Eugene, OR, where she earned a degree in Psychology wile pole vaulting for the Ducks. While at the University of Oregon, Becky took NCAA Outdoor Champion honors in 2003. Since then, she has found herself on the podium as the runner-up at the Indoor USA Championships in 2005, placing first at the NACAC Outdoor Championships in 2007, earning the bronze medal at the 2010 USA Indoor Championships, placing third at the 2011 Pan-Am Championships, and taking bronze at the 2013 USA Outdoor Championships. Holliday is also a two-time runner-up at the USA Outdoor Championships in 2010 and 2012, including a trip to the London Olympic Games as part of Team USA.

Becky balances her athletic career with employment at paddleguru.com and Rapid Release Tech. She is a self-proclaimed adrenaline junkie who loves Classic Rock music. Being an easy-going person off the track, Becky is the ultimate competitor on the track and in training, from pole vaulting to pull-up competitions and running workouts. In her free-time, Becky has a heart for animals and a passion for the Humane Society and no-kill shelters. Her hobby is picking up stray dogs and cats, asking her family to take in and provide a good home to all they can.
